Many veterans including PM Modi-Rahul Gandhi wishes on 'Eid-e-Milad-Un-Nabi'

New Delhi: On the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, the festival of Muslim community, PM Narendra Modi has wished the countrymen. PM Modi tweeted with his official Twitter handle, wrote that all the compassion and brotherhood should be maintained on this day. Along with PM Modi, former National President of Congress Rahul Gandhi and many big leaders wished people on the occasion of Eid.

PM Modi tweeted with his tweeter handle, wrote, "Best wishes on Milad-un-Nabi. Hope this day furthers compassion and brotherhood all across. May everybody be healthy and happy. Eid Mubarak!.” Rahul Gandhi, former National President of Congress and from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat of Kerala, wrote,“ On the occasion of #EidMiladUnNabi, may the spirit of kindness and brotherhood guide one and all. Heartiest wishes. ''

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh wrote in a tweet, "Greetings on Milad-un-Nabi. May this festival inspire everyone to work towards strengthening the bonds of harmony and amity in our society." Prophet Mohammed was born on the 12th of 571 AD in the Arabian desert city of Mecca. His father died before his birth. When he was 6, his mother also died. After his mother's death, Prophet Mohammed grew up living near his uncle Abu Talib and grandfather Abu Mutalib.
