New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday asked all the ministers to try to reach their respective offices at 9.30 am all morning. In addition, he also asked to avoid working from home and to set examples for others. Modi has asked his colleagues not to make any external visits during the 40 days parliament session. For this, he gave the example of his Gujarat chief minister's tenure.

As per the information received from sources, Modi said that he used to reach office in time with the officers that helped in determining the task for the day. The Prime Minister held a meeting with the Council of Ministers on Wednesday for the first time since he remade his return to power. He has asked senior ministers to take time to meet elected MPs as there is not much difference between ministers and MPs.

Sources say that Modi asked all the ministers to discuss with the officials on a few minutes of developmental work on a regular basis. He asked all the ministers to come up with a five-year agenda so that effective decisions could be taken and the government could start functioning in 100 days.
