New Delhi: PM Modi to visit Pune, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad today and review the works related to the coronavirus vaccine being developed here. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has given information in this regard. A tweet of PMO reads, 'On Saturday, PM Narendra Modi will visit three cities to personally review the vaccine development and manufacturing process. He will visit Zydus Cadila Park in Ahmedabad, Bharat Biotech in Hyderabad and Serum Institute of India in Pune.
The PMO said that PM Modi will visit these centers and he will discuss with the scientists and get information about preparing the roadmap for preparations, challenges and efforts for immunization of its citizens. Gujarat Deputy CM Nitin Patel said that Modi will visit the plant of the leading pharmaceutical company 'Zydus Cadila' near Ahmedabad and get information about the corona vaccine being developed there. The plant of 'Zydus Cadila' is located in Changodar Industrial Area near Ahmedabad city.
The drugmaker had previously announced that a first-stage trial of a possible corona vaccine had been completed, and a second-phase trial began in August. PM Modi has reached the plant at around 9.30 am. It is being told that PM Modi can make a big announcement about the corona vaccine here.
