New Delhi: World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus praised PM Modi for providing the vaccine of coronavirus to developing countries and supporting the 'COVAX ' program. PM Modi while reacting to the tweet of WHO Chief Tedros Adnom said that, 'Thanks India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for supporting #VaccinEquity. Your commitment to #COVAX and sharing #COVID19 vaccine doses is helping 60+ countries start vaccinating their #healthworkers and other priority groups. I hope other countries will follow your example.
In a tweet on Thursday, the Director-General of WHO wrote, 'Thank you to India and PM Narendra Modi for supporting the vaccine program. Your commitment to COVAX and sharing COVID-19 vaccine doses is helping more than 60 countries start vaccinating their health workers and other priority groups.'
