New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is on a tour of his constituency Kashi today. Here PM Modi also inaugurated the 6 lane highway. During this, he referred to the farmers protest and said, 'It used to be that if someone did not like the decision of the government, then it was opposed. But for some time now we are seeing that now the apprehension is being made by spreading confusion rather than on the basis of protest. ' He said that it is misleading that the decision is fine but it can happen later. Confusion is spread in society about what has not happened yet, which will never happen. These are the same people who have consistently tricked the farmers for decades.

PM Modi said, 'MSP used to be declared earlier but very little was done on MSP. The MSP was tricked for years. Large loan waiver packages were announced in the name of farmers. But it did not reach the small and marginal farmers. Big schemes were announced in the name of farmers. But I  believed that out of 1 rupee, only 15 paisa reached the farmer. We had said that we will stop black marketing of urea and give sufficient urea to the farmer. Urea deficiency was not allowed in the last 6 years. Earlier, urea had to be taken in black, even lathi charge was done on the farmers who came to take urea."

PM Modi further said, "I feel that the deceit of decades makes the farmers apprehensive. But now not with deceit, work is being done with holy intentions like Ganga water. On the basis of this track record of bringing promises to the land, new farmers reform laws have been introduced in the interest of farmers. In the coming days, we will definitely experience how much work they are doing in providing justice to the farmers. I am sure that there will be positive discussions in the media as well."
