New Delhi: At present, the eyes of the country are focused on the electoral states. Let us tell you that today is the last day of campaigning for the second phase of the West Bengal elections and Amit Shah and Mithun Chakraborty are going to campaign in Nandigram on Tuesday. Apart from these two, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also going to campaign in the southern states today. Elections are due on April 6. In fact, assembly elections in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry are going to be held in the same phase on 6 April and after that, the votes will be counted on 2 May. Meanwhile, PM Modi is going to address election rallies in these three states on Tuesday.
If we look at the recent program shared by BJP, the day of the Prime Minister's rallies will start in Kerala. Here he will address a public meeting in Palakkad at 11 am today. If you remember, earlier PM Modi came to Kerala in the month of February and then he laid the foundation stone of many development projects in the state. These projects are part of the government's self-reliant India campaign.
In the wake of the Prime Minister's rally, there have been great security arrangements in Palakkad. However, the BJP has fielded 'Metro Man' E Sreedharan, who recently joined the party. Indeed, the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the Sabarimala temple are the major electoral issues in the state. Earlier, addressing an election rally in Kottayam last Sunday, senior BJP leader and Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had said, "The party will fulfill all the promises made during the elections. The BJP will implement the CAA and three central laws to improve the agriculture sector".
