Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Maharashtra today i.e. on 7 September. PM Modi's visit has been modified due to weather failure. According to the information, due to the forecast of heavy rains made by the Meteorological Department, PM Modi's visit to Nagpur on 7 September 2019 has been canceled. For this reason, the inauguration of the Aqua Line of Nagpur Metro has also been postponed.

According to the scheduled schedule of PM Modi, PM Modi has to go on a tour of Maharashtra on Saturday. In Maharashtra, PM Modi will go to Mumbai and Aurangabad. PM Modi has to lay the foundation stone of three metro lines in Mumbai. According to the information, the three lines will add more than 42 kilometers to the metro network of the city. The three metro lines include 9.2 km long Gaymukh to Shivaji Chowk (Mira Road) Metro-10 line, 12.7 km long Wadala to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminals Metro-11 line and 20.7 km long Kalyan to Taloja Metro-12 line.

Due to these 3 new metro lines, a circle of the metro route of Mumbai city and Mumbai campus will be completed and in future, you will be able to travel to Mumbai and campus by metro.
