New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has arrived US for his three-day (PM Modi US visit) visit. On the first day of the visit today, he will meet chief executive executives (CEO) of five veteran U.S. companies in Washington. PMÂ Modi is likely to discuss developing India-US business prospects.
It may be recalled that PM Modi is on a physical stay in the US from September 23 to 25, 2021 at the invitation of US President Joe Biden. However, he left New Delhi only on the evening of September 22. This is PM Modi's first visit to the US since Biden was elected president last year. However, there have been three virtual conversations between the two leaders before - during the Quad Summit in March, the Climate Change Summit in April and the G-7 Summit in June.
US company Qualcomm CEO Cristiano R Amon, Shantanu Narayan of Adobe, Mark Widmer of First Solar, Vivek Lal of General Atomics, Stephen A. Schwarzman of Blackstone, will meet PM Narendra Modi today. PM Modi will meet all these CEOs separately.  PM Modi is also scheduled to address the QUAD Summit and will return home on September 26.
