Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has informed that the Unique Health ID will have a complete health record of the person concerned.

According to the information, the unique ID that you will get will be created with the help of  Aadhaar cards and mobile number. The main objective of PH-DHM is to further improve India's healthcare system. It is set to make it a one-stop solution to healthcare needs. This will make it easier to reach out to healthcare service providers and increase their accountability. Unique Health ID will generate a 14 digit number randomly. This allows the health record of the person concerned to be maintained.

However, it is not necessary to be created from Aadhaar card, only with the help of phone number can unique ID be created. Why can't Aadhaar be used as a unique health ID? Responding to this, the Ministry has already stated that Aadhaar needs to be linked only to places where benefit can ve availed. It cannot be used anywhere else.
