New Delhi: PM Modi may visit the US later this year if the corona epidemic improves things in the country and the world to some extent. Such signals have been issued by India's Ambassador to the US Taranjit Singh Sandhu.  Recently, PM Narendra Modi also virtually participated in the G7 meeting, while he is also in constant touch with the new US government.

A statement from Taranjit Singh Sandhu said that PM Modi and President Joe Biden have spoken thrice so far. PM Modi has also attended several other events with him. On the current relationship between India and the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu said that External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had recently visited the US where he held several important meetings. Several MINISTERS of the US government have visited India while there is constant talks with other ministers.

Talking about PM Modi's visit to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu said that in the quad virtual meeting held in March, it was decided that all leaders would hold an in-person meeting by the end of 2021. If the health situation in the world improves, PM Narendra Modi is likely to visit the US later this year.
