New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is now scheduled to visit Europe soon after the huge success of the US tour. Here PM Modi will attend the G-20 Conference (G20 Summit) in Italy. The conference is scheduled to be held in Rome, Italy from October 30-31. It will also be attended by US President Joe Biden, Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Emmanuel Macron and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Apart from attending the G20 summit, PM Narendra Modi is also said to be holding bilateral talks with several heads of state. Preparations are in full swing for the tour. However, the official announcement is yet to be made. This will be the first G20 conference after the Corona period, which is happening in physical mode. PM Modi addressed the conference through video conferencing chaired by Saudi Arabia last year. At the 15th G-20 Summit, which began between the Corona period, PM Modi had said that corona is the biggest challenge for the world since World War II.

Former US President Donald Trump also attended the conference. The conference was led by King Salman of Saudi Arabia. PM Modi had earlier arrived on a three-day US visit in September. During this time, he met Kamala Harris, the first woman Vice President of the US. He also discussed with President Biden. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, NSA Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Shringla were also present on the visit.
