New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a seven-day visit to the US. Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for the US by Air India flight at around 11 pm on Friday. The PM will stay in the US from September 21 to 27. During this period, he will be the first to attend the much-awaited Howdy Modi. The event is being held in the U.S. city of Houston on September 22. The Prime Minister will address the Indian community here. Prime Minister Modi will meet with US President Donald Trump and address the annual un-conference of the UN General Assembly. During the visit, Prime Minister Modi will meet Trump twice.

In a series of tweets, the Prime Minister also shared the outline of his visit with the US, saying that new relations have been created.

Prime Minister Modi's visit is seen as significant in the recent move taken by India on Kashmir.
