BANGALORE: On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the silver jubilee edition of the Bangalore Technological Summit (BTS 22). The three-day conference is billed as Asia's premier technological event and is taking place on the grounds of Bangalore Palace.

The summit will witness not less than 9 Memorandums of Understanding and the launch of over 20 products.  A plaque will be unveiled to commemorate the occasion by Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai. The summit is attended by more than 575 exhibitors and entrepreneurs from 16 states.

The attendance of world leaders, including H.E. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, will be a highlight of the inauguration event (virtual).

In addition to Martin Schroeter, Chairman and CEO of Kyndryl USA, H.E. Omar Bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy, UAE; H.E. Tim Watts, Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs, Australia; H.E. Petri Honkonen, Minister of Science and Culture, Finland; and H.E.

The first unicorn in India, Naveen Tewari, founder and CEO of Inmobi, is also anticipated to attend the Summit.
The conference with the theme "Tech4NextGen" will feature presentations on recent technical advancements by over 350 renowned specialists from around the world. At the conference, 5000 entrepreneurs are anticipated to attend.

IOT/Deeptech, biotech, startup, GIA-1, and GIA-2 are among the categories under which the event, which was put on by the department of IT/BT in collaboration with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), is divided into around 75 sessions.

Domains such artificial intelligence, big data, semiconductor, machine learning, 5G, robots, fintech, gene editing, medi tech, space tech, sustainability of bio fuels, and e-mobility will be the topics of discussion in the sessions.

More than 15 nations, including Japan, Finland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Australia, the United States, Lithuania, and Canada, will participate in GIA sessions.

These nations' technical might will attract notice. Also, they would outline their areas of interest in working with Indian industry.
