New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very vigilant about his work. He is also very serious about the officers working in his office. Some of Modi's trusted bureaucrats played an important role in the important work of the government like demonetization, GST and removal of Article 370 from Kashmir. Recently, PK Mishra and PK Sinha were appointed Principal Secretaries and Principal Advisers of the PM. Both PK Mishra and NSA Doval have a cabinet minister's record.

The Prime Minister's Office i.e. PMO has determined the areas of work of PK Mishra, PK Sinha and also NSA Ajit Doval. According to the order issued from the Prime Minister's Office, Principal Secretary PK Mishra will look into policy issues and matters related to the Appointments Committee and other appointments of the Cabinet beside the Ministries of Personnel and Law.

According to the order, he will also look into issues related to the Cabinet Secretariat, the list of subjects for the Cabinet meeting, the Anti-Corruption Unit, the establishment of the PMO and all important policy issues and matters. Doval will look at all matters related to national security and policy matters except appointments.

He will also look into matters related to the Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Space, Atomic Energy as well as the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) of the country's external intelligence agency. NSA Doval will also be in charge of policies and matters related to the National Security Council Secretariat and the National Chemical Weapons Tribunal.

Apart from this, he has also been given the responsibility of talking to the separatists of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland. As per the order issued from the PMO, the Principal Advisor to the PM PK Sinha will look at the policy issues and matters related to all the ministries, departments, agencies, bodies except the ministries, departments and functions allotted to the Principal Secretary and the NSA. PK Mishra has been appointed the Principal Secretary to the PM after Nripendra Mishra stepped down.
