New Delhi: The POCO X5 5G, POCO's newest smartphone, has been unveiled in India. Highlights include a 48MP main camera, up to 1TB of expandable storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging, and a 120Hz AMOLED panel with Corning's protection.
The price of the device for its base 6GB/128GB configuration is Rs. 18,999. Starting on March 21, it can be purchased through Flipkart.
In India's online market, POCO is a well-known smartphone manufacturer. The business has now debuted the non-Pro model after the X5 Pro 5G launch. The X5 5G appears to be an X4 Pro 5G that has been slightly toned down.

It does not, however, skimp on features. Due to its affordable price, the feature-rich phone is anticipated to receive favourable reviews.
The POCO X5 5G has a side-facing fingerprint scanner, an IP53 rating, and a punch-hole in the centre of the device. It has a full-width rectangular camera bump on the back that is marked with the POCO logo. The device has a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1,200-nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
A 48MP (f/1.8) primary camera, an 8MP (f/2.2) 118-degree ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera are all included in the POCO X5 5G. It has a 13MP (f/2.45) front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls.

A Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, along with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, power the POCO X5 5G. The device launches MIUI 13 on Android 12. A 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast-charging can fit inside of it. Dual SIMs, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, IR Blaster, a 3.5mm jack, and a Type-C port are supported by the 5G-capable device.

For its 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations, the POCO X5 5G costs Rs. 18,999 and Rs. 20,999 in India, respectively. Starting on March 21, it will be available for purchase on Flipkart. On ICICI Bank cards, customers can get a Rs. 2,000 instant discount.
