Poco is gearing up for its next smartphone launch in India. With this, Poco has already launched Poco F2 Pro globally but it is a different phone for the Indian market. While dubbed as the Poco M2 Pro, key details of the smartphone have appeared in the Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance databases. According to GSMArena, the SIG listing shows that the Poco M2 Pro comes with MIUI 11 and Bluetooth 5.0. The website states that the phone's announcement ID is one of the Redmi Note 9 phones. On the Wi-Fi Alliance, the listing shows the phone running on Android 10 and confirms the Poco M2 Pro.
The phone has also been seen running dual-band Wi-Fi. GSMArena highlights that the "gram" kernel source is similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro. It is being speculated that Poco M2 Pro may be a new Redmi Note 9 Pro. Beyond the official launch, the Poco M2 Pro has made several appearances on the web. Only last month, the phone was seen on Xiaomi's India RF exposure page. Poco is currently building hype around its next audio device. The company recently named the crowd for its upcoming truly wireless earbuds.
Poco's wireless earbuds, officially called Poco Pop Buds, are likely to compete with Real Buds Air when they arrive in India. Earlier this month, Poco launched the Poco F2 Pro with premium specifications and features. The phone has a 6.67-inch full-screen FHD + AMOLED display with no notch and no punch-hole. The Poco F2 Pro runs Android 10 out-of-the-box and is powered by a 4,700mAh battery with 30W fast charge support. Other important features of the phone include a 64-megapixel rear camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G Chip, and up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.
