The Polish government to ease some corona restrictions. The government on Friday announced Friday that it will ease additional corona induced lockdown restrictions, starting February 12.

In the new relaxations, Hotels and other leisure facilities will be allowed to receive guests again, as long as they are not consuming food and drinks in common areas. Cinemas will also be allowed to reopen, but only at 50 per cent of their normal capacity. All restrictions on outdoor sports, including skiing, will be lifted. Meanwhile, secondary schools and above will have to organize their classes exclusively online until at least March 1.

Meanwhile, Coronavirus cases rise unabated across the globe, with more than 105.5 million infected by the deadly contagion. While 77,239,084 have recovered, 2,297,584 have died so far. The US remains the worst-hit country with 27,273,890, followed by India, Brazil, Russia and the United Kingdom. India recorded 12,410 new corona cases. The total number of active cases in the country has fallen to 153,252, while the caseload tally stands at 10,805,790.
