Lucknow: A case of spreading hatred towards women on clubhouse chat has come to light. Delhi Police has detained a Lucknow student and is interrogating him in connection with the case. The clubhouse creator reportedly received some information when the police collected technical evidence in the case. Police have since started questioning the Lucknow student.
According to Delhi Police, a team was sent to Lucknow. A man named Rahul Kapoor, who runs an ID named Bismillah, was tracked here. In police interrogation, he admitted that he had built an audio chat room in the clubhouse at the behest of a user named Sallos and handed over the moderator's key to the Sallos. Police have seized Rahul's mobile and he is joining the interrogation in Delhi till this evening.
Earlier, acting on a complaint by a Mumbai woman, Mumbai Cyber Crime Police has arrested 3 accused in the case. According to Mumbai Police, three accused have been identified through technical analysis who have been arrested. One of the accused Kla XD alias Akash has been nabbed from Karnal, who is 19 years old. Two other accused have been arrested from Faridabad. Among them, 21-year-old Jaishnav Kakkar is a B Com student, while Yash Parashar, 22, is a law student.
