JAMMU: Police in Baramulla cracked the case of a recent terror attack on a wine shop, arresting four terrorists and one Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) associate and recovering rifles and ammunition from their hands, according to Kashmir Zone Police on Thursday.

Five firearms, 23 grenades, and explosives were recovered in the possession of terrorists implicated in several terror attacks in Baramulla.

"The case of a recent terror attack on a wine shop has been solved by Baramulla Police. Four terrorists and one LeT associate have been apprehended. Five firearms, 23 grenades, and explosives were found. In Baramulla, this terror module was involved in multiple terror acts "Vijay Kumar, Kashmir's IGP, was quoted by the Kashmir Zone Police on Twitter.

On Tuesday, one of the two terrorists (pillion rider), dressed in a Burka, approached the window of a wine shop in Baramulla's Dewan Bagh and threw a grenade inside through the port hole window, before fleeing. Ranjit Singh was killed in the attack on the wine business, and three other persons were injured.

Govardhan Singh, Ravi Kumar, and Govind Singh, the other three injured, are being treated at the Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla.
