Journalist beaten up by police in a full locality, reason was just a question

Patna: The Bihar Police did not like the question of a journalist so much that they started beating the journalist in front of everyone. They even broke his mic. In fact, the police had reached there for investigation in a death case. The journalist questioned him about this. A video of the incident has also surfaced, in which the police are seen raising their hands on the journalist amid a huge crowd.

The incident took place in the Garkha police station area of the Saran district. One person died in Audha Mal village on Thursday. He reportedly died after consuming illicit liquor. The deceased has been identified as Alauddin Khan. He was 35 years old. As soon as the news of the case was received, the police of Garkha police station and the police of Marhaura police station reached the spot and started searching the matter.

Earlier, when the Garkha police station in-charge had reached with his team force in this suspected death case, a local journalist was also present during that. When the journalist questioned about the death, the police started beating the journalist. The police beat up the journalist and also broke his mike. It is being said that the journalist had asked a question related to poisonous liquor which did not like by the policemen of the local police station. It is alleged that in an attempt to suppress the death case, the police journalist was beaten up. Seeing the journalist being beaten, the people of the village also got angry. Those persons have made Garkha police station in-charge Murdabad and thief...  shouted slogans.
