During the night hours on Friday, a police constable was kidnapped by some gunmen from his residence. As per the recent reports, the olice man has been found dead on Saturday. The police man is supposed to have murdered by gun shots, since there are marks and injuries due to the same. His body was found in Qaimoh village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

The police constable was named Mohammad Salim Shah. According to the reports provided by the Police officials, the constable was murdered soon after he was kidnapped by the militants

Mohammad Salim Shah was appointed as a special police officer. The police officials also informed that he recently, got promoted to a higher post. As per the reports, the constable was under a training in Kathua. To inform you, the Special police officers are volunteers who choose to serve the nation.

It has also been informed that the constable was on leave and had come to the Kulgam district to visit his home in Muthalhama area.  Well, till now, none of the militant groups have made any announcement regarding the murder.

As per the reports, Mohammad Salim Shah is not the first policeman to be killed. Before him, 24 policemen have already been murdered by the militants.

Previously, Aurangzeb who was a soldier was also kidnapped and killed while he was on the way to his house in Shopian to celebrate Eid with his family.
