New Delhi: While farmers are gearing up for a tractor parade on the occasion of Republic Day, the police administration has also made full preparations on its part. A large number of policemen have been deployed in view of the farmers' tractor march. The Republic Day continues to be a major challenge before the Ghaziabad Police.

On the one hand, the republic day is maintained by law and order in the district, and on the other hand, peaceful completion of the farmers ' parade. Ghaziabad Police has entrusted 1000 constables, 500 head constables, 300 sub-inspectors, 50 inspectors, 12 CO and 6 additional SP on the day of January 26 to resolve the tractor parade of farmers peacefully. 400 traffic constables, 50 traffic head constables, 15 TSI, 5 TIs have been put on duty to maintain traffic system in the district.

Pac and RAF personnel have also been deployed. Delhi Police Special CP Dependra Pathak said the agitation has been going on for the past two months. Five to six talks were held with farmers over the tractor rally. We had appealed that there should be no disturbance in the Republic Day celebrations.
