Jamshedpur: The body of a three-year-old girl who was abducted late on July 25 from the platform of Jamshedpur (Tatanagar) station in Jharkhand has been recovered by the Tatanagar Railway Police from a forest near the Jemco wire company. A preliminary inquiry has launched by the police into the murder case after the rape of the girl.

In fact, the police were questioning a young man from the GRP Telco police station area. The body of the girl has also been recovered on the spot of the young man arrested in the same link. Though the accused tried hard to mislead the police, he spewed the truth ahead of the pressure from the police. The body of the girl has been recovered in a mutilated condition. Police have not found a single cloth on the girl's body, raising fears that it may be a rape case. The post mortem report is currently awaited.

The girl's mother, along with her boyfriend, had arrived at Tatanagar station in Jamshedpur on Thursday, from where the accused disappeared during the night. However, the entire episode was captured in CCTV cameras fitted in the station premises.
