Balrampur: Police of Balrampur district in Chhattisgarh have a wonderful offer for you. According to a pamphlet issued by Superintendent of Police Dev Ranjan Verma, the police has launched a 'Four-year Employment Scheme' under which the offenders and those who give information about their activities will be given money in the award.

The police pamphlet also lists the prize money for a variety of information. According to this, the police will get a reward of Rs 1,000 for assisting in locating the stolen car and a reward of Rs 1,000 will also be given to help recover the katta. A reward of Rs 5,000 will be awarded on the information and seizures of unlicensed revolvers or pistols.

The pamphlet says that anyone can give such information to the Superintendent of Police on their official mobile number. The identity of the person will be kept secret and if the information is found to be correct, the prize money will be paid in cash or credited to his account. This is the first of this kind to be introduced by the police. So far, informants are given money from secret funds, which each police chief of the district has. Verma said the scheme has already started and the results are coming.
