Dehradun: In Uttarakhand, a sudden crime graph is continuously increasing in Pauri district these days. It has become a challenge for the police to rein in the sudden increase in crimes. Overcoming rising crimes is proving to be a crooked heel for the police. There is a shortage of policemen in the district.

Several policemen and PAC soldiers from Pauri district are on duty at Haridwar Kumbh. Pauri's SSP has admitted the rise in crime due to the shortage of policemen. During the police administration's crime meeting, it was reported that most of the thefts in the district were on the rise. Many thieves are actively cleaning hands at government residences. SSP has alerted the police administration and instructed them to expose the thieves.

14 cases of rape have been registered in Pauri recently. 17 cases of dowry and 6 cases of cybercrime have been registered. However, the police record in cybercrime was very good. Out of such cases, 4 cases have been solved by the police. The recovery of 6 lakh has been returned to the people.
