Sambal: The police investigation into the killing of two policemen on Wednesday in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh has brought to light the gross negligence of the police. As the investigation progresses, layers of negligence by the police department are unfolding. Preliminary investigations have revealed the most serious negligence that out of 5 policemen carrying 24 inmates in the van, 3 policemen had no weapons at all.
One of the policemen, an elderly Daroga Chetaram, was scheduled to retire in July. The body of the elderly Daroga was not worthy of being able to take a stand against the absconding miscreants. All the four cameras around the prison house were found locked before the three prisoners were locked before the house was held in Chandausi court. Pictures of the prisoner van's decaying have already surfaced.
However, IG Moradabad has suspended 4 RI health policemen for negligence. ADG Avinash Chandra police are making loud claims to respond to the escaped prisoners in their own language. But the big question is who will take responsibility for the reckless police system that led to the killing of 2 policemen.
