Kishanganj: A raid has been conducted in Kishanganj Mandal Kara on Thursday. In this operation led by the collector, the police have found empty syringes from the jail. Due to this, the SDM and SDPO along with the collector had also arrived. The 3-and-a-half-hour raid and inspection created a ruckus among the jail staff and the inmates. Besides the male and female wards of Mandal Kara, the hospital was also inspected by the officials and police personnel.

According to reports, collector Dr Aditya Prakash reached Mandal Kara with police forces around 2.30 pm on Thursday. Collector Amit Kumar Pandey said that anti-social elements and objectionable items were to be investigated in the jail. Empty syringes of injections have been recovered from the jail. Rather than this nothing objectionable items were found. Due to this, the e-visitor system was also closely examined. Jail officials have been instructed to increase the security of the jail.

On the other hand, in Siwan also, the district administration has become strict about better law and order. Here also a raid was conducted in the jail under the leadership of Sadar SDPO and SDO. Police personnel searched the wards of the prisoners thoroughly. Due to this, no weapons or objectionable goods have been seized from any ward except tobacco. The administration team did not get anything after entering inside. Collector Amit Kumar Pandey said that the jail was raided under the leadership of Sadar SDPO and SDO. In which the health arrangements have also been checked and guidelines have been given.
