Patna: Bihar police have recovered 8 bombs from a village in the Vaishali district on Sunday. The inquiry was initiated 4 days before the panchayat elections to be held in the area. The bombs have been traced from a garden in Jawaj village of Vaishali.

According to reports, the children who were going to collect firewood suddenly noticed a sack lying nearby. When they opened the sack, bombs were placed in it. After which he informed the people about it. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information from locals. The bombs were removed from the sack and placed in the water after which they were defused. Police have seized the bombs.

SO Manoj Kumar has said that the bombs were defused by the local police team as soon as they came to know about it, all the bombs were kept in a sack of plastic.  Police have initiated action in the case. He further said that police are already on alert for panchayat elections in the area. Police are acting on the case and some persons are also being questioned.
