Bilaspur: The Ajak police station in-charge, who was returning home from the office, was crushed by a mixer machine capsule late Tuesday evening near Ashok Nagar Chowk. He was scheduled to retire on June 30. After the incident, the driver left the vehicle on the spot and fled. Police have detained the helper and the operator. This is how the accident happened

He was reported to have arrived here in August 2018. He was given charge of the Ajak police station. Ajak police station in-charge Hariram Sahu was a resident of village Kosarangi in Khora police station area of Raipur district. He was present at the meeting at the IG office from 4 pm to 7.30 pm on Tuesday evening. Ajak had gone to the government train along with DSP Surjan Singh. Both returned to the police station. From here, the police officer-in-charge left for home with his official bike. They had a barrack in line to stay. At 7.45 p.m., the first high speed micture machine capsule hit the rear at Ashok Nagar Chowk.
