New Delhi: Police in India have issued a warning to Android users about a growing scam spreading through WhatsApp known as the "WhatsApp Pink" scam. This deceptive scheme involves the distribution of a link promising users access to a new, pink-themed version of the popular messaging app.

Unfortunately, falling victim to this scam grants the fraudsters access to the user's WhatsApp account. This compromised account can be exploited to send spam messages, steal personal information, or perpetrate financial fraud.
