Lucknow: RPN Singh has resigned from the Congress and joined the BJP today. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, BJP state unit president Swatantra Dev Singh and UP Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya were present on the occasion. According to sources, the BJP is likely to give ticket to RPN Singh from Padrauna assembly seat in Kushinagar against Swami Prasad Maurya. Though Swami Prasad's seat has not yet been fixed, there is a strong possibility of him fighting padrauna.

After joining the BJP, RPN Singh has changed the bio of his Twitter account. He has removed the information of the post associated with the Congress party from here. In a tweet, Singh wrote, "Today, when the entire nation is celebrating Republic Day, I am starting a new chapter in my political life. At the same time, Congress leader Amba Prasad also made a big allegation against RPN Singh, saying that for the past more than a year, RPN Singh had been trying to overthrow the Congress-JMM government in Jharkhand in connivance with the BJP. The party leadership was also constantly alerted about this. Every true Congressman in Jharkhand is happy with his departure from the BJP.

At the same time, congress leader Jitu Patwari, who has inherited politics without hard work, who is in politics because of his family background, also those in whose eyes siasat is "professionalism". They should not worry about their defection at all. Because, their ideological commitments go on with opportunity, which keeps changing.
