Patna: Political parties are seen levelling allegations against each other in the Lakhimpur violence case in Uttar Pradesh. Last Saturday, Union Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Giriraj Singh said, "Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's visit to Lakhimpur Kheri is an example of 'political tourism.' Rahul Gandhi, who visited Lakhimpur Kheri, does not have real sympathy and compassion. Wherever Congress and other opposition parties get a chance, they go ahead with their political tourism. I want to ask why Rahul Gandhi did not go to meet the family of the journalist who was killed in that incident. Why didn't he go to the Valley to meet the family of those killed in Kashmir?''

You must be aware that eight people, including four farmers, were killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence on 3rd October. A Congress delegation including Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi met the family of deceased farmer Lovepreet Singh in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh on October 6.

Talking about Giriraj Singh, he congratulated the Bihar government for giving 6 crore vaccine doses before December. "Today, the whole world is appreciating India's epidemic management and covid vaccination momentum. We have achieved this under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I am proud that despite the abuses of many people, we not only saved our lives but also saved the lives of people around the world by sending corona vaccine to various countries.''
