Dehradun: Uttarakhand is not taking the name of stopping the discontent ment after the release of the list of candidates in the BJP and the Congress. On Thursday, two BJP MLAs resigned from the party. This includes MLAs from Tehri and Rudrapur. Dhan Singh Negi, MLA from Tehri, joined the Congress on Thursday.

At the same time, mla Rajkumar Thukral has resigned from the BJP due to the ticket cut from Rudrapur. He has sent his resignation to state president Madan Kaushik. He has written in his resignation that his ticket has been cut due to a conspiracy. He has said that he will contest as an independent.

On Wednesday, the BJP's list was released, in which sitting MLA Rajkumar Thukral's ticket was cut. Expressing faith in BJP district president Shiv Arora for Rudrapur seat, the party has finalised his ticket. Mla Rajkumar Thukral's call was also switched off after the ticket was announced. In Rudrapur, bjp district president Shiv Arora and sitting MLA Rajkumar Thukral were in a tussle over the ticket. Both the leaders had reached Delhi for a long time and were trying for a ticket. Dhan Singh Negi, who joined the Congress on Thursday, has levelled scathing allegations against BJP's Tehri candidate and former Congress state president Kishore Upadhyay. Dhan Singh has alleged that Kishor has bought a ticket for tehri seat for crores of rupees. Kishore Upadhyay was removed from the party by the Congress on Wednesday for six years. After which he joined the BJP on Thursday and the party declared him the candidate for tehri seat.
