New Delhi: Salman Khurshid, a veteran Congressman and former Union minister, attacked political strategist Prashant Kishore on Friday for suggesting that the opposition leadership should be elected democratically. "PK exploit divinity to challenge the democratic decision of Congress workers," Salman Khurshid tweeted. It demonstrates that having a textbook understanding of politics has little bearing on human behaviour. It's not only about winning elections in politics.'

'Lessons for PK,' Salman Khurshid stated. Faith is vital to divinity. Faith is important to democracy. Others are unable to develop democratic choice scripts. Return to school and start over if the democratic alternative is not comprehended. Separating religion and faith may be the answer to the BJP's problems. PK had claimed on Thursday, in a veiled criticism on former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, that the party's leadership is not "a divine prerogative of any person."

"The idea and place that the Congress represents is crucial for a robust opposition," Prashant Kishore tweeted. However, no one has a divine right to head the Congress, especially since the party has lost more than 90% of its elections in the last decade. Allow the opposition leadership to make a democratic decision.'
