In the very recent Red Fort violence case, the police have issued an arrest warrant and a lookout notice against Sidhu. Deep Sidhu has been associated with the peasant movement. During the tractor parade that took place on 26 January, there was a lot of violence and the flag was hoisted at the Red Fort. He is now accused of inciting people to hoist the flag.
