I never want to blame anyone for them though.

People said to look different, so be bold: Poonam further speaks, when I entered the industry, I must have been 17 to 18 years old at that time. No one from my family was far from concerned with the glamour industry. In such a situation I was very unaware. As people spoke to me, I went on to do it. I was told that if you want to look different from the crowd, then make such statements, publicity stunts are very necessary. 

By doing all this, I am going to come to the notice of big makers. I did that too. It happened, when I have spoken about taking off the clothes in the middle of cricket, it has become popular overnight. I thought the industry probably works like that. However, this comment had a very bad effect on my personal life.
