Pakkhi Hegde, a popular name from the Bhojpuri industry, who is known for her adaptability is all set to step her foot in the television industry with Udti Ka Naam Rajjo. Pakkhi has always done protagonist characters in her films so far, but the actress will now be seen playing a negative character for the first time. She will be seen in ‘Udit Ka Naam Rajjo’ where she will be playing the role of the male lead's mother. Pakkhi's negative character is considered to be the most awaited character of the show.

Talking about bagging the show, the actress shared, "I am doing a Television show for the very first time and I’m super excited for this journey. I always wanted to work in TV and in spite of receiving many offers due to some or the other reason I couldn't accept any offers. I feel now is the right time to take this up and Udti ka naam Rajjo is going to be a great debut for me as it has a larger than life canvas so I am very happy and privileged to be a part of it. The way people from north have been appreciating and accepting my work I hope that I will get the same amount of love and acceptance here too so I’m looking forward to this and I couldn’t have asked for a better start for my debut in television. Also the cherry on the cake is that it’s a Mukta Dhond show and she’s an amazing director/producer so yes I’m very excited for this one."

Pakkhi, has worked with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the film Ganga Devi. She has also worked with the biggest superstars of Bhojpuri cinema like Manoj Tiwari in Bhaiya Hamar Dayavaan, Paramveer Parsuram and Ganga Jamuna Saraswati, and with Pawan Singh in Pyar Mohabbat Zindabaad and Devar Bhabhi.

That's not all; Pakkhi has played the female protagonist in the Marathi film Sat Na Gat, with Sayaji Shinde and Mahesh Manjrekar. She has also done a Tulu film, Bangarda Kural. The actress has done more than 60 films in Bhojpuri language which has been a blockbuster at the box office.
