Breakfast, The most important meal of the day. A healthy bite in the morning can give us the energy we need to carry out our daily activities easily. As much as we love our traditional Indian breakfast meals, most of them are often laden with heavy oil or are deep fried or have too much sugar in them. So, these types of food items in morning can harm your kid's health later.

Here is some Indian Breakfast that is unhealthy for children:

1. Paranthas - They are a good option to start the day because they include vegetables and flour, but if they are fried (which in most cases they are), they can be extremely fatty.

2. Puri sabzi - Another favorite in most Indian households and something that many moms pack for their kids' lunch is puri sabzi. Puris are deep fried and most mix vegetables are also prepared with oil.

3. Sabudana Vada - A favorite among Indians especially on their ‘fasting’ days, this breakfast is doing your body more harm than good. Oils, potatoes, sago and cornstarch with preservative and colour-laced ketchup make this one of the most unhealthy breakfast dishes.

6. Poha Jalebi - Poha is one of the healthiest meals you can have in India but teaming it up with jalebi just takes away the health benefits and the poha is liberally garnished with sev which kills the health benefits somewhat left.
