Popular spiritual leader Sadhguru travelled 17 hours to cast his vote

On Thursday, in the second phase of polling, Spiritual leader Jaggi Vasudev, popularly known as Sadhguru, travelled 17 hours all the way from the US to cast his vote in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore in the second phase of voting on April 18.By doing so he draw a marks for his all disciples and followers toward nationalism and responsibility toward nation.

Here it is to be noted that taking to Twitter, Sadhguru said, “May this immense privilege to decide who should conduct the governance of the nation not go in vain. I beseech every adult to exercise this responsibility to decide the future of the nation.” "It's time we come of age as a nation. Let's make a clear statement that 'freebies for votes' is not the way. We want long-term solutions for the well-being of all." reads his other tweet. The voting to elect 95 representatives across 12 states and UTs is taking place in the second phase of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections today.

 

However it is worth mention here that the influential spiritual leader who also uses science to expound his philosophy has often used his influence to inspire the youth in a positive way. The Isha Foundation that his team of devotees and followers run, had published this message from him earlier in April before the elections began. "@Sadhguru answers a student’s question on poor voter turnouts during elections and makes the point that voting is a fundamental responsibility of every citizen. Get #InkedForIndia." read the Isha Foundation tweet. Sadhguru travels across the globe to participate in discussions related to spirituality.
