New Delhi: Ahead of Republic Day, the country's capital Delhi is on the target of terrorists. Delhi Police and all security agencies have been keeping a close watch on anti-terror activities in Delhi for the last two months. The Delhi Police released the pictures of some suspected terrorists on Tuesday just ahead of republic day.

In the posters of the suspected terrorists put up near the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place, the police have appealed to the people to make their identities public and inform the people about them. The Delhi Police has also announced a reward for those who give clues.  Security agencies have been further alerted after the recovery of IED bombs at Ghazipur Phool Mandi. It is believed that some terrorists or sleeper cell members hiding in Delhi may try to carry out a major terror attack.

In view of this, Delhi Police has installed CCTV cameras with a special facial recognition system at 30 locations including 6 entry points to strengthen the security arrangements and monitor the hotspots of Delhi in view of Republic Day. This facial recognition system has a database of 50,000 suspected offenders.
