New Delhi, Due to shifting of Bawana-Shalimar Bagh 220 KV line by Delhi Transco Ltd., Power supply in several regions of north west Delhi may be affected from May 28 to 31.

An official of the company said, "Delhi Transco Ltd will shift its Bawana-Shalimar Bagh 220 KV line from its existing bays to new bays between 11 am on May 28 till 6 pm on May 31".

The areas that may get affected during this period are Shalimar Bagh, Rani Bagh, parts of Wazirpur and Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar.

To backfeed the areas, there are some alternative arrangements have been made. In case of any exigency, power supply may be affected rotationally for short duration in these areas, the official added.
