Practicing 'Yoga' regularly may overcome your 'lower back pain'

Everyone knows that Yoga is the best solution for all your internal diseases and now you will be surprised to know that chronic low back pain can also be cured by practicing Yoga regularly. People, who used to do Yoga regularly for three to six months have experienced some relief in back related problems, said, researchers.

According to the study’s lead author Lisa Susan Wieland, Assistant Professor at University of Maryland School of Medicine, “We found that the practice of yoga was linked to pain relief and improvement in function”.

“For some patients suffering from chronic non-specific low back pain, yoga may be worth considering as a form of treatment,” Wieland added.

The 12 separate studies were looked by the Wieland and her associates on yoga for low back pain. In which, the majorly performed practices include Iyengar, Hatha, or Viniyoga. Also, the study published online in the journal Cochrane Library said, “At three and six months, patients using yoga had small to moderate improvements in back-related function, as well as small improvements in pain”.
