On Sunday, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi issued a big statement. He said in his statement that the monsoon session of Parliament is going to be held with the government, in which all health-related vigilance for Coronavirus will be followed. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlada Joshi told that the monsoon session (of Parliament) will be held clearly. The government will complete all the formalities and all precautions will be taken regarding Covid-19.

Earlier in the month of March, Parliament has passed 12 budgets with 15 sessions of the Lok Sabha and 15 Rajya Sabha Bills. At the time of session, 19 Bills (18 in Lok Sabha and 1 in Rajya Sabha) were presented in both the Houses. Apart from the passage of the Finance Bill, both the houses were adjourned after the completion of budgetary action.

The second part of the session was closed in view of the crisis of epidemic corona spread. Sources said that on June 1, Rajya Sabha Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla held detailed talks on the convening of the next monsoon session of Parliament in view of the Covid-19-inspired criteria of social dissatisfaction. He said that the politicians have taken note of the reports which stated that the fight against Covid-19 is a long haul. According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 28,637 new cases have been reported in the last one day and 551 people have died. After which the total number of corona positive cases in India has increased to 8,49,553.
