A piece of big news has come out for the viewers who like Ramanaand Sagar's 'Ramayan', the famous show of TV. The telecast of 'Ramayana' can start again on Doordarshan's channel from Saturday 28 March on the demand of the public. The first episode can air at 9.00 am and the second episode at 9.00 pm. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar himself has informed about this on social media. The past few days, Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana and BR Chopra's Mahabharata were being telecast again on social media.

Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana was broadcast for the first time in 1987 on Doordarshan. BR Chopra's Mahabharata was also broadcast on Doordarshan in 1988 for the first time. People used to watch Ramayana and Mahabharata so much that there was a silence on the streets. During the telecast of these religious programs, the atmosphere of the streets outside was almost like a curfew. People used to watch Ramayana and Mahabharata very keenly in 1987-88. It is said that at that time, people did not like to pick up anyone's phone.

When the 78-episode Ramayana was broadcast, there was a curfew-like silence in the streets and streets of the country.
