New Delhi: The Central Government On August 5 repealed Article 370 applicable in Jammu and Kashmir. The government gave many arguments behind this. The government claimed that it was becoming a major hurdle in the development of the state. Which needed to be removed for the interest of the state. However, there is an opposite opinion about this in the valley. Now Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Information and Broadcasting in the Central Government, said that after the withdrawal of this stream, the state is going to have a big advantage in the field of education. He said that when Jammu and Kashmir had special status, the state had the right to take decisions excluding defense, communication and foreign affairs. Various central laws were not applicable to the state.

Javadekar said that under the Right to Education, 25 percent of the students belonging to economically weaker sections get admission. It was not applicable to J and K, but now it will apply. The people of Jammu and Kashmir did not get benefits under various schemes for OBC (Other Backward Classes), but they will get it now. Similarly, the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes had no political reservation, but now they will get it. The Union Minister claimed that the people of Kashmir are happy to end the provisions of Article 370 as they will now get benefits and rights along with the rest of the citizens of the country. Let us tell you that the BJP government is promoting it as its biggest success. And it has also got good support from the rest of the country.
