The election for the President of MAA (Movie Artists Association) is going to be held soon. And both Prakash Raj and Vishnu Manchu are rallying to garner support. Prakash Raj recently met Kota Srinivasa Rao who assured him of his support. The senior actor also took a jibe at Prakash Raj, calling him "disciplined". “Sad to see such irresponsible behavior since a month. I think Vishnu fits the role of President as he is able to handle the issues related to MAA.
I have worked with Prakash Raj in at least twenty films and I have never seen him come on the sets on time. Punctuality goes for the toss when he is around. Vishnu is a disciplined and qualified candidate. He also urged other artists to vote for Vishnu. “On behalf of Vishnu Manchu, I request all the artistes to vote for him and help him win the election. He will take good care of your welfare,” he said. Vishnu Manchu also met Nandamuri Balakrishna, Krishna, Murali Mohan and others to garner support.
MAA President Naresh has also spoken on his behalf several times. Prakash Raj is supported by Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Naga Babu, Jeevita and others. Voting will begin at 2 pm on October 10 and around 500 artists are expected to cast their votes. Both Prakash Raj and Vishnu Manchu are confident of their victory.
