New Delhi: Election strategist Prashant Kishor has made a big prediction about the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Prashant Kishor has said that it will take 15 to 20 years for AAP to become a national level party. He said that in today's time, any party needs to get 20 crore votes to become a national party, while the AAP got only 27 lakh votes in 2019.

Talking to the media, Kishor said, "Theoretically, any party can become a national party, but if you look into the history, it is known that only the BJP and the Congress have reached the whole of India.''

He further said that this does not mean that no other party can do it. But it needs to be fought for 15 to 20 years. No such change can happen overnight. Prashant Kishor said this on a question on AAP's clean sweep in Punjab assembly elections.
