Prashant Kishore to work for Congress: CM Channi

Amritsar: After West Bengal, election strategist Prashant Kishore is now set to enter Punjab's politics. Prashant Kishore will now be seen preparing a strategy for the upcoming assembly elections for the Congress after separating himself from Mamata Banerjee. This was informed by Punjab CM and Congress leader Charanjit Singh Channi. Talking to party leaders, he said that Prashant Kishore is soon to join the party as a strategist.

Channi said the party high command has asked him to share the electoral strategy with Prashant Kishore. In fact, CM Charanjit Singh Channi held a meeting with all Punjab MLAs late at night, during which Charanjit Singh Channi was seen informing all MLAs and cabinet ministers that according to state Congress observer Harish Chaudhary, Prashant Kishore will also be introduced soon.

However, earlier there were reports that Prashant Kishore would join the Congress after the upcoming assembly elections. Author Rashid Kidwai had claimed through an article that Prashant Kishore's entry into Congress is possible only after the upcoming 5 assembly elections. He also spoke of the Gandhi family's agreement on the issue. Not only that, but Kidwai had also mentioned in his article that Prashant Kishore would also suppress Congress only after the assembly elections.
