New Delhi: Congress Lok Sabha MP Adhir Ranjan Choudhary has slammed election strategist Prashant Kishore for moving 12 party MLAs to Trinamool Congress (TMC) in Meghalaya. Chaudhary said all this is being done by Prashant Kishore and TMC leader Luizinho Falario. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said, "If Mamata Banerjee meets Sonia Gandhi now, PM Modi will be angry. Mamata's actions changed immediately after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned her nephew. Earlier, he had written to Sonia Gandhi asking her to fight together against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). '

Reacting to the TMC's repression of 12 Congress MLAs in Meghalaya, Chaudhary said, "This conspiracy to break the Congress is taking place not only in Meghalaya but all over the North-East. I challenge Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to first contest on the symbol of TMC her (rebel MLAs) and then formally welcome her to her party. In Meghalaya, the Congress has been dealt a severe blow by the TMC.

The Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC) claimed late on Wednesday night that 12 out of 18 Congress MLAs have joined the party in the state. Former CM Mukul Sangma's big name is among those who left the Congress. The incident came hours after Mamata Banerjee met PM Modi.
