Former Bigg Boss contestant and producer Vikas Gupta had made a shocking revelation in the past. In fact, he had said in a statement recently: "He and Pratyusha Banerjee were in a relationship. At that time, he first learned that he was bisexual. Rahul Raj, who is now Pratyusha Banerjee's boyfriend, has expressed anger over her statement. He recently said on the statement, "Pratyusha never dated Vikas". Talking to a website, he said, "Vikas should stop naming him. In fact, vikas had earlier said in a statement that 'he (Rahul Raj) was eating chips outside the hospital when Pratyusha committed suicide".

Now, amidst all this, Rahul told a website, "Pratyusha never dated Vikas so there is no question of his separation. In fact, after a point, she did not even follow. He should stop making stories for publicity. Pratyusha would have slapped him if she was alive". He also said, "He should not name me in his interview. I don't think he has anything else about me, except eating chips in the hospital (when Pratyusha committed suicide). It is defamation. If he doesn't stop it, I will take legal action against him. Overall, I want to say that i should stop naming Pratyusha to get into the limelight".

Rahul also said, "Pratyusha has always been open about her relationship. She did not hide anything about her personal life. Vikas Gupta is only taking advantage of the situation as she is no longer to react to the claim. During the "Power Couple" (2015) show she told me that Vikas had proposed to her and she refused. He knew about her sexuality. When I asked him why he did not do any project after "Balika Vadhu". So she told me that Vikas had planned a project with her which he later cancelled. Let us tell you that Pratyusha Banerjee committed suicide in the month of April 2016.
